The UNIV 106 (Library Skills class) is now officially closed. I sincerely hope this class gave you a greater understanding of the breadth and scope of knowledge available to you through the library.

Congratulations to all who participated! You have gained skills that will enhance your research prowess throughout your life.

UNIV 106 will be available in Fall 2006.

Almost there!

You have until 6:00 pm Thursday (May 11) to turn in any corrected assignments to successfully finish the course. It is your responsibility to check, and since most of you are one or two assignments from getting the PASS grade, it will not take us too long to grade your assignments on the spot.

If you have any questions, please come to the Reference Desk, or stop by my office, 107D.

Deadlines and Coffee

The Friday, May 5 deadline has passed. If you did not turn in all of your assignments by then please don't bother to do so now.

If, however, you did turn in all of your assignments, please check them for corrections. If you have corrections to make you have until Thursday, May 11 to finish them all.

Should you want to spend sleepless nights at the library, only the first floor will be open 24 hours, with coffee available after 11 pm. You can find more information on this post or at the library's Hours page.

May 5 Deadline

It's crunch time, folks, and you have until 6:00 pm Friday, May 5, to turn in all your completed UNIV 106 assignments. No unfinished assignments will be accepted after the May 5 deadline.

If after you turn in your all assignments on May 5 and you have corrections to make, you have until Thursday, May 11, to finish them. You will pass the class once you successfully complete all assignments.

And in case you didn't know, the library will be open 24 hours starting 10:00 am May 7 thru 6:00 pm Thursday, May 11.
