Congratulations on finishing UNIV 106! This blog and the course are over for the Fall 2006 school year, but will surface again for the Spring 2007 semester.
Grades are due to the Registrar's office by noon on Wednesday, December 20. I will probably post them by Monday.

This is it, folks. Tomorrow (Thursday, December 14, at 6:00 pm) marks the last day to turn in your corrected assignments. If you fail to successfully complete the course, you will fail the class.
If you passed the course you are welcome to take your assignments home with you. Cherish the memories and use the assignments as guides in your future research forays.I hope this course was helpful. Or at least, that it made you aware of the breadth of information resources available to you, and that there are librarians willing and able to help you navigate an ever-growing universe of data.

If you turned in all your completed UNIV 106 assignments last Friday, December 8, you now have until 6:00 pm, December 14 to make your corrections. Please note: this new deadline is only for students who have completed all UNIV 106 assignments but might have to make corrections on some of them. And on the freaky side, the library had to close 15 minutes early on Friday due to an unforeseen incident. If you were at the library trying to finish your assignments when this happened, please let me know.

Hi everyone,
As you may have guessed this Friday, December 8, marks the end of regular classroom instruction throughout campus. It's also the day you have to turn in any and all completed assignments for UNIV 106 by 6:00 pm.
Remember, to pass the course you have to successfully complete all assignments without mistakes. After December 8 you can check at the Reference Desk to correct any mistakes you may have incurred in your rush to beat the deadline.
If you have corrections to make you have until 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 14, to get them done. No assignments will be accepted after this day.
Note, also, that the library will be open 24 hours (first floor only) during finals week (12/12 - 12/14).

If you've been keeping tabs on your assignments you know that December 1st is the last target date, meaning that, ideally, you should be finishing assignments 19-22.
If you haven't you still have a little bit of time...but not much! All completed ungraded assignments are due Friday, December 8. Please note: if you have any corrections to make on those assignments turned in that Friday (12/8) you have until the very last day of classes, Thursday, December 14 by 6:00 pm, to correct them.Failure to fully complete all UNIV 106 assignments after the last day of classes will result in an "F."
